JBT Marel unveiled Sta-Fresh® Flowable Wax 4000 which represents a concentrated, easier-to-handle evolution of the company’s Sta-Fresh pineapple wax portfolio.
Sta-Fresh Flowable Wax 4000 eliminates the need to scoop, scrape, weigh, and intensively mix paste-style waxes. Featuring a 77 percent concentration, the formulation delivers more usable product per drum, reducing water storage requirements and inventory footprint, while supporting more efficient transportation and storage. This flowable wax demonstrated improvement in shelf-life extension after cold storage and improvement in DPA control compared with Sta-Fresh 2952. Pairing this new wax formulation with the company’s ProDOSE™ Pineapple Wax Dosing Machine complements the product’s efficiency by providing automated dosing, Brix monitoring, concentration control, and data logging.
